Oral communication is a critical skill for nearly all professions, and is of course a very useful skill during one's university education. In this presentation principles of effective communication, tips for evaluating and tailoring the presentation to the audience, and other tips to enhance the effectiveness of your oral presentations will be shared with the audience.

Occurring monthly during the academic year, the 2DCC Webinars present new technical scientific news from within the 2DCC facility and the broader scientific community, as well as, broader topics such as science related to diversity. The webinars are free with an online registration.

The purpose of this forum is to facilitate a discussion among members of the materials research community of ways in which automation and machine learning can be used in conjunction with advances in bulk and thin-film single-crystal growth methods to accelerate the discovery of inorganic materials.
