GlycoMIP Tools

Thermo Orbitrap Eclipse Tribrid Mass Spectrometer

Thermo’s Orbitrap Eclipse mass spectrometer allows for the acquisition of direct infusion and liquid chromatography- mass spectrometry data. Samples range from whole proteins, complex digests, and purified molecules for analysis on the instrument.

Nicoya Open Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR)

Nicoya’s Open SPR is a high-quality benchtop SPR that provides label-free binding kinetics, affinity, and thermodynamics data for a wide variety of molecular interactions. The Open SPR utilizes nanotechnology-based sensors to deliver repeatable and highly sensitive kinetic data.

Anton Paar MCR-302

Anton Paar’s modular compact rheometer (MCR) 302 can measure the flow behavior and viscoelastic properties of samples ranging from low-viscosity liquids to soft solids (gels). Measurements can be conducted in rotational and oscillatory modes and with different measuring geometries, such as concentric cylinders or cone-and-plate.

BioTools ChiralRAMAN-2X Raman Optical Activity (ROA) Spectrometer

BioTools’ ChiralRAMAN-2X ROA spectrometer provides Raman and ROA spectra of liquid and gel materials. The instrument utilizes a 2-watt laser to provide the complete vibrational spectrum (from ~100 to 2000 cm-1), collecting Raman spectra in as little as 150 msec.

Glyconeer

Initially pioneered by Peter Seeberger, the Glyconeer® is the first commercial, fully automated oligosaccharide synthesizer. This instrument, in combination with commercially available building blocks, enables users to quickly and reproducibly synthesize an array of higher order oligosaccharides.

BioTools ChiralIR-2X VCD

BioTools’ ChiralIR-2X VCD spectrometer offers all digital processing to improve the stability and suppress instrument artifacts allowing the simultaneous monitoring of infrared (IR) and VCD spectra.

Nicoya Alto Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR)

Nicoya’s Alto SPR is a high-throughput benchtop SPR that provides high-quality binding kinetics and affinity data for a wide variety of glycomaterial interactions. The Alto SPR utilizes digital microfluidics (DMF) with nanotechnology-based biosensors to accurately control and manipulate discrete nanoliter-sized droplets through applying voltage on an array of electrodes.

Nanotemper Monolith Pico Microscale Thermophoresis (MST)

Nanotemper’s Monolith MST measures binding affinities using very little sample, providing a broad range of dissociation constants (Kds) ranging from pM to mM. Because the Monolith MST uses a very small amount of sample, we can obtain Kds in a fraction of the volume and concentration as is required by isothermal titration calorimetry.

MALDI-2 Mass Spectrometer (timsTOF Pro/fleX)

Bruker’s MALDI-2 mass spectrometer houses a platform that allows for the acquisition of data in both electrospray and MALDI modes. Samples ranging from tissues to purified molecules can be analyzed on the instrument.

Glyconeer

The GlycoMIP user facility will provide all-atom molecular modeling and molecular dynamics simulations through a one-of-a-kind virtual user facility.
