Mike Scudder, a PARADIM user and graduate student in the Goldberger group at Ohio State University, was awarded the OSU Presidential Fellowship in Spring 2020. As the most competitive scholarly recognition from the OSU Graduate School, the fellowship acknowledges Scudder’s research, which was performed in part at the PARADIM Bulk Crystal Growth Facility.

Scudder plans to return to PARADIM to further develop his expertise using the platform’s unique floating zone furnaces.
