Researchers supported by PARADIM have demonstrated room-temperature, rewritable magnetic patterning in thin film Fe₀.₅₂Rh₀.₄₈ by using focused laser heating to locally control phase transitions. This breakthrough enables precise, on-demand switching of magnetization and opens new pathways for advanced data storage and spintronic devices.
The study was featured as the Inside Cover of the June 2020 issue of Advanced Materials.
